    About Us

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 59’s website.  Our Troop is located in East Greenwich Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey, and within the Boy Scouts of America Southern New Jersey Council. The Scouts thank all the Leaders who have helped us throughout Scouting.

Troop 59 is graciously sponsored by the Evangelical United Methodist Church of Clarksboro, NJ and has been serving the boys of East Greenwich for over 50 years.  Scouting aims to build character, foster citizenship, and develop fitness in boys through exciting outdoor action and fun.  Normally, we meet every Thursday evening at 7 pm, September through June, at the EUM Church.  Overnight outdoor activities are usually once a month, September through June and include camping, canoeing, sailing, whitewater rafting, climbing, cycling, hiking and backpacking.  We also have quarterly fun nights including activities like bowling, climbing and volleyball.  Check our Troop Program Calendar to see what we have planned, and visit our Troop History page and video to learn about some of what we've done.

or view our brochure

Troop 59 is committed to providing service to others and to developing our scouts to be the best they can be. Please see our links and video for some of our accomplishments and favorites.

If you have any questions, please contact our Scoutmaster as noted below.  Thanks.
